Amankora,Paro

At an elevation of 2,250 meters, Paro Valley makes a beguiling start or an atmospheric end to an Amankora journey. An internship enables you to gain first-hand exposure of working in the real world. It also allows students to harness the skill, knowledge, and theoretical practice they learnt in university. Internships provide a nice learning curve for students with little experience of the professional world.

 The most important element of internships is that they integrate classroom knowledge and theory with practical application and skills developed in professional or community settings. They also bring a wealth of benefits to students, both while completing a degree and when seeking a career path post-graduation.

This internship program should be taken seriously by all individual as it can make huge difference in the real field.


THE FOUR MAJOR DEPARTMENTS

HOUSEKEEPING

We were to clean all the hotel property and also make rooms. The department was fun learning as we were very familiar to this sort of work.

FRONT OFFICE

This department was the information center of the hotel. Though it was at the back of the house it was worth being in this department as we really could learn a lot.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE

This department gave us exposure more in regards to service. We were sent forward to talk with the guest and this was very helpful as we could develop our communication skills and confidence too

KITCHEN

Less learning from this department but it was too much fun as we got to see very new dishes and some dishes proved worth learning. Washing was also a major thing we were given to do as a learning in kitchen.




MEMORIES AT AMAN

Uncountable memory were created in that short three month intern. No matter where we go this will be in our mind as memories are to be kept. Memories of our work time with staffs, memories outside the work and also the memories that was at work outside the hotel.
