Royal institute for tourism and hospitality management is one of the best institute in the Bhutan. Ever since i have i have stepped in RITH i never felt that i have chosen wrong career. Being in this institute i have learnt many new things which i will never forget for the rest of my life. It has a mesmerizing environment with beautiful people as teachers are helpful, classmates are very good, and friends are awesome. we get to prepare different dishes using our own creativity which helps us in developing our skills and knowledge. we are trained in different fields so that we can improve our skills. And the memories I have created with my friends are awesome as sometimes we laugh at silly jokes, sometimes we quarrel for simple reasons and sometimes we cry for no reasons. But over all i had great experience at RITH.

Recruitment

Neat & Clean Laundry Service will recruit four employees: TWO persons for operating machines and ONE person for reception cum Pressing and ONE person for delivery.

The vacancy for the above mentioned post will be announced in the local TV channel since Neat & Clean Laundry intends to employ youths from the Paro locality itself.

The applicant must fulfill the following conditions:

1. He/she should be a Bhutanese national

2. He/she should have a minimum qualification of class X.

3. He/she should be 18 years and above.

4. He/she should be in good health.

The selection of the employees will be done based on merit

Training:

The four selected employees will be sent for 15 days training at training institute. The training will mainly focus on how to operate machines used in the laundry service and learn skills that are needed for functioning a laundry.

UNIQUE SELLING POINT

Pick- drop service

Dirty cloths will be picked from your home and cleaned clothes will be dropped at your home thus people don’t have to go to laundry shops, stand in queue for the payments and waiting for cloths and time-consuming.

Issue coupons to loyal customer

Offering coupons will introduce new customer to the business, or getting the customers back to the business. Introducing coupons is a way to begin long term communication with the customers.

Service Description

Washing

The Neat & Clean Laundry Service will provide washing service to the customers. It is aimed at providing automated washing service with the use of washing machine which will consume less time and will be able to provide better quality wash than hand washing.

Drying

Neat & Clean Laundry Service Pvt. Ltd will not only provide washing services, other complementary service like drying the clothes after washing using Drying Machines will be also be provided. This service will be very helpful to the customers in drying their clothes in winter.

Ironing

Ironing and folding services after drying the garments will also be provided so that garments do not shrink. Thus, ironing will help to keep garments in proper shape.

Sustainability

The establishment of Neat &Clean Laundry Service in Paro does not pose any grave threat to the environment; however, small matters like waste water and noise made from the machines cannot be ignored.

Waste water

The waste water from the laundry would be directed towards sewage as shown in the diagram above.

Noise from the machine

Though noise produced from the machines that Neat & Clean Laundry Service intends to use would not produce very huge noise; nevertheless, the issue cannot be ignored. To address the issue, machines will be run under close doors and windows with avoid the spread of noise.

Use the right detergent.

We can also reduce water consumption by making sure that my business use the right amount of detergent. Using more than is necessary for one load can increase, or even double, rinse time. Also be sure to use enough for heavily soiled linens so they do not have to be washed again. My business will use special detergent for low temperatures so that can it won’t require hot water or several rinses to work.

Efficient use of electricity.

As electricity is important part of laundry business, neat and clean laundry service will use electricity in an effective way where by when it is in not use, it will be kept off and also machine will be keep the at rests after long working days.

MARKETING MIX

Product

Free home pickup and delivery service from Tuesday to Sunday. We will provide convenience and high quality dry cleaning, and laundry.

Price

Price will be lower at the initial stage compare to the competitors. But the business will targets the working and professional customer who often pay less attention to the price then the quality of service and convenience of service.

Place

Since this business require large number of customer, the location of the business will be located in Paro town so that my business will attract more number of customer. Thus it can deal directly with customer.

Promotion

Promotion is an activity that is done in order to tell potential customers about the presence of the company. These business will make small commercial with a powerful message that will run on TV, social media and shopping centers. And also issue coupons with lower price for loyal customers.

Marketing strategy

Advertise through social media.

The services will be provided free of cost for the first two weeks to all the customers.
